Knights kick off new school year at Netzaberg Middle School

The halls of Netzaberg Middle School came alive as students and teachers returned for the first day of school, bringing excitement, smiles, and plenty of Knight spirit to campus!

The morning began with an unexpected twist. Before students even arrived, Principal Dr. Darnell Dean had to respond to a fire alarm, proving the first day of school is never completely predictable! Thankfully, the situation was handled, and the school was ready to welcome its Knights.

Upon arrival, students received a very special welcome. The Base Commander was on hand to clap and cheer our middle school students as they made their way into school. The show of support from our military community helped set a positive and energetic tone for the day.

Soldiers were also out supporting the school and helping make the morning special. Their presence reminded students they are surrounded by a community that believes in them and is excited to see them succeed.

And, of course, no first day at Netzaberg would be complete without Mega Knight, the KNIGHT’s mascot! Mega Knight helped bring the energy and school spirit to a whole new level, greeting students and adding plenty of fun to the morning.

With bubbles floating through the air and smiles everywhere, it truly felt like a celebration! Inside the school, students and teachers were eager to begin a new year of learning, friendship, growth, and opportunity.

Classrooms were buzzing with anticipation as everyone settled in and prepared for the year ahead.

From the Base Commander and soldiers to our dedicated teachers, staff, families, and of course our amazing students, it was clear that the Netzaberg community is ready for another incredible school year.

Welcome back, Netzaberg Knights! Here's to a year filled with learning, laughter, leadership, and Knight pride. We are excited for all that this school year will bring!

Once a Knight, always a Knight!
